Research is integral to Hamad Bin Khalifa University's (HBKU) mission to help build human capacity in Qatar. It is at the very core of who we are and what we do.

Since its inception in 2010, HBKU has continued to grow and strengthen its programs. HBKU is internationally recognized as a Qatari hub for innovative research. It has many interdisciplinary academic and research programs.

Our university takes pride in its outstanding academic programs and world-class research facilities, driven by our six colleges and three national research institutes to build future leaders, support Qatar’s sustainable and diversified economic growth, and transform our research to generate value as well as real-world impact.
