Dr. Hasan Kurban is an Assistant Professor at the College of Science and Engineering at Hamad Bin Khalifa University, with additional roles as Adjunct Associate Professor of Computer Science and Data Science at Indiana University Bloomington and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University at Qatar. He also serves as an Editor for Nature Scientific Reports.

Dr. Kurban earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science with a minor in Statistics from Indiana University, Bloomington, USA in 2017. His research spans Artificial Intelligence, deep learning, software engineering, graph theory, and large-scale data analytics, with applications in diverse fields including computational materials science, biology, sports analytics, education, public transportation, finance, and medicine.
