    Biography

    Dr. Henning F. Horn is an Associate Professor at Hamad Bin Khalifa University’s College of Health and Life Sciences. Dr. Horn received his PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Cincinnati. After a postdoctoral fellowship with Professor Karen Vousden at the Beatson Institute for Cancer Research in Glasgow, United Kingdom, he joined the Institute of Medical Biology in Singapore as Senior Research Fellow, working with Professors Colin Stewart and Brian Burke.

    In 2014, Dr. Henning F. Horn joined Hamad Bin Khalifa University and helped build the College of Health and Life Sciences research and teaching framework. He leads a research group focusing on two areas of health research: 1) novel variants in male infertility and 2) role of nuclear envelope proteins in cancer.
