Abstract
The proposal addresses the pressing need for Qatar to navigate the complexities introduced by global climate policies that impact its hydrocarbon-dependent economy. It aims to analyze the influence of these policies on Qatar's oil export revenues, explore strategies for economic diversification, assess risks associated with the transition to sustainable energy, and evaluate the alignment of Qatar’s industrialization initiatives with international climate agreements. Utilizing advanced econometric models and machine learning techniques, the research seeks to provide strategic insights that are crucial for Qatar's economic resilience and sustainability. The novelty lies in its comprehensive methodological approach, combining quantitative and qualitative analyses to offer actionable recommendations for policymakers, enhancing Qatar's adaptability to the evolving global energy landscape.
