Project Details
Abstract
This project aims to utilize slotless electric motors to increase the mobility of mobile satellite communication systems. The advantages of slotted and slotless motors have been examined, especially in stabilization systems for mobile vehicles, particularly in military operations. Slotless motors offer features such as silent operation, low vibration, low torque ripple, and zero cogging torque. These features can enhance the performance of mobile satellite communication devices and provide reliable communication, especially in challenging terrain conditions. Additionally, the project aims to promote the domestic production of electric motors used in national defense systems, thereby reducing technological dependency. Upon successful completion of the project, slotless electric motors will be used for the first time in SATCOM communication systems, minimizing positioning errors of SATCOM antennas. Furthermore, the quality and efficiency of electric motors used in mobile satellite communication devices will increase, enabling competitiveness in both national and international markets with the advantage of domestic production. Simultaneously, the utilization of domestic resources in military communication systems will increase, significantly reducing technological dependency.
