Abstract

This article describes an algorithm which estimates velocities of moving objects by tracking features on motion trajectories. The algorithm has been applied to real-time data obtained from a full-custom-designed VLSI sensor. Real-time experimental results show that velocities of moving objects can be measured with less than 10% relative error.
