N2 - This paper employs the extended trial equation method to retrieve chirped optical soliton solutions to Chen–Lee–Liu model that describes pulse propagation through optical fibers. Bright and singular optical soliton solutions are recovered by the application of this algorithm. As a byproduct, singular periodic solutions fall out. These soliton solutions are obtained with constraint conditions that are also presented.
