Abstract
Basic regularities of ultrafiltration and reverse-osmotic separation of sulfite liquor and postyeast wort are presented. On their basis, a technology of two-stage baromembrane treatment of sewage from cellulose-sulfite production and concentration of sulfite liquor and postyeast wort is developed. Ultrafiltration concentration occurs at the first stage, while the reverse-osmotic treatment of ultrafiltrates - at the second stage. In this case the extraction of valuable component (concentrates of conditioned lignosulfonates) and decontamination of process solutions are achieved. Filtrates after reverse osmosis can be used as return water or discharged to water bodies without additional treatment.
