Abstract

Produced water treatment is expressive and technically a challenging task. Thus, it is better to reinject produced water into the formation. We have conducted a novel experimental study where we have observed the effects of salinity and temperature on formation damage in carbonate core samples. In future, we will conduct more parametric experiments (suspended solid particle, emulsion and so on) and a mitigation approach will also be proposed.
