Abstract

The photorefractive (PR) screening is represented by anisotropic and isotropic models. When the laser beams are launched in the PR crystal, in the presence of electric field, screening solitons emerge. The solitons experience both attraction and repulsion. Under isotropic approach, the refractive index is locally modified which results in spiral action of two solitons about each other. The differences between the two models is evolved by integrating them for same initial and physical conditions.
