Abstract
This paper provides an optimization model to assign proctors to exams, hence, creates different timetables for each proctors for the entire exam period. The study was carried out in a private university in which the timetabling process used to be done manually. The objective of the model is to create a fair distribution of exams among proctors, with respect to their academic title. That is to say each research assistants, associate professors or professors should have the same amount of duties with their colleagues. Other than the usual constraints of timetabling problem, the model also takes the absences of the proctors into account.
