Abstract

Early detection of breast cancer plays an important role in survival of the patients. As smart phones have a massive impact on our lifestyle, we are seeking to decrease the time gap of onset and detection of breast cancer using a mobile phone app. In this paper, we discuss a web-based software application platform that can be used by any patient on their smart phone to automatically score the risk of breast cancer as well as to connect with their doctors for further assessment, support and action. A clinical study of this 'app' will be carried out in the next phase of the project.
