Abstract

This chapter explores the trajectory of intercultural education in Qatar, examining its historical roots, the emergence of Education City, and the implementation of the National Vision 2030. It examines the interchange between cultural identity, educational initiatives, and the national vision, emphasizing the challenges presented by the internationalization of education. The chapter highlights the development of Qatar’s educational landscape, from the formative years marked by traditional forms of learning to the establishment of world-class university campuses while fostering a dynamic and intercultural educational environment, striking a balance between its cultural image and its global aspirations.
