Abstract

This study secures dark optical solitons to Lakshmanan-Porsezian-Daniel model which governs the dynamics of pulse propagation through long-haul optical fibers. The tanh method is utilized to retrieve solutions of this equation. There are three types of nonlinear fibers analyzed in this paper. They are with Kerr law, quadratic law and cubic-quintic law.
