Abstract

The paper has investigated the processes of water purification of direct red dye using a combined photocatalytic membrane method. It also studied the impact of different grades and doses of the TiO2 catalyst, duration of UV-radiation, of the (H2O2) and the pH of the solution on the retention coefficient of the dye from aqueous solutions. The researchers demonstrated high efficiency of the proposed method when purifying water solutions of the direct red dyes.
