Abstract

A systematic review attempts to collect and combine all empirical evidence to answer a specific research question that fits the pre-specified eligibility criteria. Explicit, systematic methods are selected with a view to minimizing bias. Therefore, Systematic reviews provide more reliable findings from which conclusions can be drawn and decisions made. A major task in systematic reviews is abstract screening, i.e., excluding, often hundreds or thousands of, irrelevant citations returned from searching one or multiple databases based on titles and abstracts. Thus, a systematic review platform that can automate the abstract screening process is of huge importance in making this process faster and more accurate. In this demo proposal, we present the performance and workflow of our 5-star rating prediction system (RelRank) implemented inside the Rayyan platform for systematic reviews.
