Abstract

Research in Computational Science and Engineering focuses on the development of computational tools and capabilities to address challenging problems in the entire Science and Engineering spectrum. This field has witnessed significant progress and increase in the MENA region in the past decade. In 2015 we initiated a bi-annual conference in this field to gather local and global experts to share their expertise and explore new ways of collaborations. In this special issue we present selected papers that were presented at the second International Computational Science and Engineering Conference (ICSEC17) in Doha, Qatar.
