Abstract

Self-pumped phase-conjugate mirrors (PCM) are essential parts of any device employing optical phase conjugation (OPC). A troublesome aspect of their behavior is inherent spatio-temporal instabilities. The spatio-temporal dynamics of the double-phase conjugate mirror (DPCM) was investigated in this work. Particular attention has been paid to the inclusion of transverse effects.
