Abstract

The rate of dye removal from aqueous solution has been found to vary linearly with the square root of time for much of the adsorption period. A rate parameter, k, has been defined to explain intraparticle diffusion on a quantitative basis. This rate parameter has been correlated against the process variables thus providing useful design data.
