Abstract

We have investigated the process of effective removal of phenol from aqueous solutions using a photocatalytic membrane reactor of a successive type. We have investigated the influence of the catalyst (Ce(OH)3OOH), the oxidant (H2O2, O2), the time of ultraviolet radiation, the type of a membrane on the degree of aqueous solutions purification of phenol. It has been shown that under optimal conditions phenol is removed virtually completely.
