Research output: Book/ReportBookpeer-review

Abstract

Muhammad Rashid Rida was a prominent member of the reformist school of thought known as al Jami' ah al Islämiyah, a school which had a profound effect on many of the issues confronting the Muslim mind nearly a century ago. If Jamäl al Din al Afghani can be called the founder of this school, and Muhammad 'Abduh its mentor, then Rashid Ridã may be called its ar-ticulator and third most important personality.
