Abstract
The demultiplexing and tunable filtering in phononic crystals with a hollow cylinders were discussed. The study was carried out by using the finite difference time domain (FDTD) methods. The properties of the waveguides composed of a row of hollow cylinders in two-dimensional (2D) phononic crystal made of filled steel cylinders. The results show that a waveguide constitutes of a row of hollow cylinders with different inner radii can transport waves at two different frequency.
