Abstract

The challenges faced in two-body job search are discussed. Some factors, including how wide area to cover in sending out resumes, whether to mention the marital state up front, timing considerations interviewing together or separately, and negotiation, are also discussed. In a two-body job hunt, the candidates need to spend more time doing research in identifying places to send resumes, where they both can work. Both the candidate and his/her spouse need to coordinate their interview dates to avoid disadvantage compared to other people on the job market.
